Customer Service Coordinator (FMCG)

Our client a FMCG company in Kent is seeking an experienced Customer Service Coordinator (Shifts). The main job purpose is to act as a partner to a number of Key Stakeholders including customers, operational Managers and external parties to create a seamless customer experience. Supporting the company to develop new business from onboarding to business as usual and into long-term partnerships. Create strong and long-lasting business partnerships by applying expertise and knowledge that can be relied upon to match customer requirements with operational capability. The main responsibilities will be:

Matching customer requirements with operational capacity. For example:

  • Planning business activity: packhouse, warehouse, arrivals in line with the business capacity and customer's requirements
  • Liaising daily with customers regarding their requirements and enquiries

Implementation. For example:

  • Reviewing Production resource in line with customer requirements and ordering of agency labour to optimise output
  • Creating and maintaining SAP master data
  • Technical completion of production orders, investigating exceptions and anomalies to ensure that all revenue is captured to ensure accurate invoicing

Reporting. For example:

  • Analysing business capacity over the longer term compared to customer requirements and forecasts
  • Monitoring customer stock usage and dwell times and reporting this back to the customer and internal stakeholders with recommendations
  • Reporting plans to the relevant internal stakeholders

You will have strong Communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a team. Also the ability to build relationships with customers and have good time management and organisational skills. It is essential to have a background in the food industry or a similar FMCG environment. SAP experience will be an advantage.

The working hours will depend on the shift pattern which can be very flexible.
