This well established growing Forwarding and Logistics Agent have an exciting new opportunity available for a full time Client Services Associate within their Cargo team.

Any previous experience of forwarding/logistics/roadfreight/Customs would be an advantage.

The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be articulate with good written/spoken English and be computer literate

  • This is a client facing role based with the department for the UK/Irish Cargo division.
  • Whilst we are willing to consider candidates with no industry experience, an awareness of the road freight industry would be benefit as it is a fast paced and hectic department.
  • The team are the gate keepers for information flow between the client and the rest of the operation, so attention to detail and clear communication skills are a must.
  • The team is involved in vetting the customs worthiness of client documentation, so an awareness of key features such as Incoterms and other basic customs terms would be helpful, but can be taught to the right candidate.
  • Competence on a computer is a must, as the team’s main tasks are based on Outlook and our Freight Management system Azyra.
  • The Client Services team exists as the client’s main point of contact for bookings, queries and relationship building. They also manage SLA and KPI targets and monitoring.
