An exciting new position is available as Sales Operations for this large Global Logistics Provider. As a member of the Sales Operations team for the UK, the role of leads management will help to deliver qualified sales leads to aid in business development for the UK. Additional duties include general sales operations responsibilities.

The focus of Sales Operations is to optimize the effectiveness of the district sales team by providing support to the District Sales Team and Manager. The Sales Operations candidate must have a desire to win business and work as part of a successful team

  • Manage the sales leads program to enhance the overall output of qualified opportunities.
  • Understand the demands of the sales team and the requirements of what the company is trying to achieve when researching and developing new leads.

The role will have responsibility to deliver the following:

  • Understanding of the complete Team Selling Process
  • Management of CRM leads within CRM
  • Maintaining Customer Organisations
  • Deliver qualified leads on a weekly basis to the sales team
  • Research Leads
  • Liaise with the network to enhance leads
  • Liaise with local operations in the UK to develop leads
  • Creating meaningful impressions with customers

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, excel as well CRM.
  • Ability to be able to work alone and manage workload effectively
  • Strong desire to understand the business and our customers business drivers
  • Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the phone
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Commitment to deadlines
  • Degree or higher level of education
  • Commercial office sales experience
  • Some forwarding or Logistics knowledge
